"I admit." Talk It Out.
Small step to talking with God.
Depending on our individual walk some might have a better prayer life than others in this season. THAT IS OKAY. God is working on you in this very moment and if you don't know how to pray, new believer, season of giving up, or isolation or maybe things aren't "feeling" the same.
Whatever the reason.
Pause for a second and acknowledge where you are right now.
This can be physically, emotionally, spiritually, a simple LORD I don't know. God wants to hear from you. So right now, admit the wrongs, confusion, or even the joys you have. God is your Bestfriend and loving Father who you can admit anything to and who is waiting to hear from you.

Your I am vs God’s I am
Have you admitted your sins, your confusion, your happiness with God. OR maybe you were speaking through your flesh/humans ways of recognizing your current state of being. For example: i am weak, i am strong, i am angry, i am alone, i am happy, i am guilty, i am afraid' i am a sinner, i am human. It is important to admit and recognize these states of being and emotions; however, this is not where we as believers stop. Believing in God is the knowing that Gods power, love, and "I AM" is stronger than ours. When we have God our chains of "i am" are broken.
God says in Isaiah 41 9-10
9 I have called you back from the ends of the earth,
saying, ‘You are my servant.’
For I have chosen you
and will not throw you away.
10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
I have called you back from the ends of the earth, God has called you from afar, from generations ago, from deep in sin, from fleeting happiness.
Genesis 1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. God knew your name in the beginning.
Remember God has "called us back from" God knew there would be darkness physically and spiritually. That no person is perfect and is to be called from something, you're NEVER too far from God.
Genesis 2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.1 : 3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness.
God is our maker and saw that darkness was not good, God created light and THEN saw that light was good! The very beginning of creation is also a foreshadowing of Jesus Christ. God knew the sins of man, God knew that darkness of our flesh could be saved by our true light, Jesus Christ. This is the same God who has called you BACK FROM. What an honor it is to be called personally by our Father.
‘You are my servant. ’For I have chosen you and will not throw you away.
Being a servant of God, does not equate to an earthly servant- for God is our creator, blesser, guidance, and protector God is Ultimate. We are not serving man, but God. To praise God only, to follow God's lead through life, and help others no matter what. We are humble in the face of God. God is declaring that you are my servant, and God will provide all we need, will be our protector, and be the peace we need in the darkness of times. Even if you have fallen away, God is still on your side because God has chosen you (when you did nothing to be chosen). To be a servant of God means that we are in relationship with God, that we are chosen to help others, to rest in the fruit of the Spirit [love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control] not as people see fit or earthly standard but in the standard of God. We shall learn and give these same attributes in our daily lives. To be a servant is not punishment, or lower than-it is a reward and humble honor to be in midst of God. We-[I} fall short all the time, it's hard-unattainable to be 100% servant only Jesus could obtain this. However, because God has declared us as servants (not us declaring to God) we each hold a unique story of service.
God has chosen you- from the beginning, when God knew that you might deny him, God chose you when he knew you would fumble, when you would stop praying, God has chosen you. God won't throw you away. God is a loving Father, and although you might feel a certain way now..when your "i am" feels a little heavy know that God has chosen you for this moment to embrace him, to serve him, and not your own "i am". For when we say "i am afraid" God says Don't Be. Even if we say "i am happy" God says be happy in me-sing praises to the holy kingdom of God.
10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
God is saying don't be, don't stay in fear, it is a sweet reminder and hug from our Father saying although you are.. you do not have to stay stuck in fear, in temporary happiness, in loneliness, that God is with us in those moments. God is saying don't be discouraged for God provides all that you lack, God is your GOD! The one who has called you. God is promising you that he Will strengthen you, help you, and hold you up in victory. You can have all the fear in the world but once you begin to relax in God, God says I AM with you. His I AM is stronger, bolder, more powerful than yours.
When God called Moses in the burning bush, Moses didn't immediately jump and obey God. Moses kept saying but.. Exodus 3:11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” and God responded 12“But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain."
13 Then Moses said to God, “If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what shall I say to them?” 14 God said to Moses, “I AM who I AM.” God is I AM.
